On the 6th of July I went into the ABSA Fourways branch and spoke to Khomotso. She was very friendly and helpfull.

I got a bit worried when she entered an amount of more than 3 times what i wanted to borrow, but i assumed it was a simple mistake and she re submitted my application. The Loan application referred and she informed me that she would be out of office during this week, but all I needed to do was phone into the branch, just after 12 on Monday, they should have a response by then.

When I phoned in I spoke to another consultant, who had no clue what was going on with my application, and could not find any of my documentation, she promised to phone me back before the end of business the same day.

The next day I phoned in again, and her excuse was that they're systems where down, and that is why she did not even bother phoning.

I spoke to the sales manager, and she assured me she would sort it out. On Thursday Khomotso sent me a message asking me to send in more paper work, after the manager informed me that everything was in order.

And Today I get a casual email from Khomotso saying my loan was declined?

I'm not sure if she submitted the right paperwork?
