I am insured with Budget and have been for the past 10 years, I however was not sure whether I could claim for an incident that took place on the N2 north bound late at night where I drove over an object and 3 of my tyres was cut as I had runflats on my car I continued driving and only realized this the Sunday morning. As Budget was close over the weekend I used their online service. As I needed to use my vehicle I proceeded to repair the tyres at my own cost. Approx a week later I phoned Budget just for interest sake to find out whether I qualified for a claim. Alicia Narainsamy from the Durban branch then assisted me and said I qualified and could still claim. As I had already repaired my tyres which cost me R11.200.00 for 2 x rear tyres and 1 front tyre, I decided not to submit a claim as this would increase my monthly payment. She then proceeded to explain the process should I not submit the claim and I was very impressed with the services rendered.. Well done to Budget Insurance and their staff.
