Closing account impossible

I have closed my cheque account on 8 July 2013 to move to another bank. They deducted all the feees that I owe and then gave me the surplus funds due to me. My Cheque and linked garage card where taken, cut by scissors in two, photocopied and I was requested to sign the paper where the images of cut cards were reflected. After three days (11 July 2013) I received an sms with a reference number stating that my cheque account is overdrawn. I called the provided tel number where I was informed that there were some toll fees that were not yet cleared when I closed the account. The amount is R201.75. I then indicated that I am going to the branch immediatley to pay this amount which I did. I payed R202 at the Silverton branch. I presented the deposit slip to the enquiries consultant at the branch only to be informed that the account is still active and it wont be closed as there are charges amount of R18 outstanding. My resolve now is that I dont have time for stupid games and Nedbank must go to. I am not going to entertain this nonsense anymore. Bye Bye Nedbank, your attitude and the similar stories that I have heard have made us enemies
