I joined Oakhurst insurance in May when I bought my new car, till today I have no documentation from them. I had an incident with my car on the 17/06/13 and called them notifying them and also re-docs. My back windows was smashed and my battery wires cut. I received a call on the 04/07/13 from Letitia to inform me of my access thats R12000, I told her I have no documentation on my policy, she said I can negotiate my access with the panel beaters (Seds). I then spoke to Marinda and asked her for the assesor report which she refused, then I decided to go through to the panel beaters to see why they claim for R57000, to my shock, most of the things was false, as i wasstanding there the amount actually came down to R11860.00, (they added things on that was in the car to up the qoute. I then send a report to Oakhurst and informed them of my findings and also of the docs that was never received. No response from them, I rather received a call from Seds telling me they were informed by the insurance to move the car to Lenesia without informing me. My car is standing for 4weeks, no work done, the insurance don`t communicate at all. Oakhurst never send out their on assesor.
