Standard Bank
Treating the elderly badly

I took my grandmother to the bank to get a statement she is 85 years old and cannot stand for very long. we asked a gentleman at the front if there was maybe a pensioners counter or some other way they could assist her first, the gentleman said they could only bring her a chair to sit on while she was in the que. An employee Zubair came up to the line and asked the 1st person what he needed help with then moved on to my gran, she mentioned she needed a print out of her statement and that there no pensioners window so could he help her, his reply was 'ok fine but let me help the others in the line first' RUDELY, he asked the lady behind me she said needed help with the ATM, he said sure come with me. He took her to the ATM immediately and helped her for AT LEAST 10 mins. We still waited in the line. I don't really understand how he helped her right away and not my grandmother who was struggling? when he called us I asked how he could help her before us and he said abruptly 'ATM queries are more important' he didn't apologise once or show ANY compassion. I told him I'm sure headoffice would love to know how there banks treat the elderly. me and my grandmother were treated terribly.
