Using loopholes to dishonour responsibility

My swimming pool liner in Port Alfred was damaged during the 2012 floods. The floods severely affected the natural water table and cracked the lining. After having to wait almost 2 months for an assessor and many phone calls later an assessor was finally sent only to confirm the flood water table damaged the liner.

Waiting another 2 months I finally received a phone call to say it is in for review because although flood dame is covered, unfortunately water table damage is not.

The lady promises to phone me the next day to confirm the review outcome the next day and after another 4 months I'm still awaiting this promised call.

The funny thing is that the water table has returned to normal and now I'm sitting with an empty pool casually soaking up the sun and having the liner damaged further by it.

For me personally they cover flood damage and therefor they need to repair my pool. Arguing that water table damage is not covered is unacceptable.

To be silent about it and not returning customer's calls and explaining to them what the situation is is just plain unethical especially If they undertook to give feedback and resolve the situation.
