About two months ago, my wife started getting sms notes from Standard Bank. She never had an account with Standard Bank. I phoned the Customer line to get it sorted out. I was told that somebody has linked her number to my account. I was her number would have been removed and the matter investigated. I was not surprised that I did not hear anything bank from Standard Bank.By this time I am use to Standard Banks bad service. I also forgot about it. Yesterday she received a sms to collect the card from the Lynwood Branch. I would like to know who gave permission to link her cell number to my account and order her a card? I would like to know who are going to be responsible for any money that she uses? On the other hand this is the same Bank that took all my signing wrights away and gave all signing writes to my wife for all my accounts. She never had any accounts with them and still today do not want any thing to do with them. If that was my only problem with Standard Bank it would not be that bad. But there sms system are not working again. No surprise. After no help from the first call takerI spoke to Bethuel Zulu. As per him he is running the whole card division, and get answers.
