Holding on for 13 minutes? And for how long still?

Dept leaves a message on my phone telling me to call THEM and then expects me, the customer to hold!! Why am I, the customer not given the opportunity to leave a message?
What a cheek. One of the reasons I switched banks is this shoddy service.
You can call me and if you don't reach me, you can call me again until you do.
