I took a substantial home loan with Standard bank for a property where I have an animal rescue center. I had a real unexpected emergency that required me to transfer all my money to resolve the situation, as I have never been in this situation and didn't want to affect my credit record I did what Standard bank advertise "Talk to US" needless to say the response from them was pretty much "Shame but pay there is nothing we can do!!! ". I emailed all Standard banks various departments expressing my disgust and guess how many responses I got!!!
I contacted FNB and informed them about my situation and the guess what that helped me with an extension and offered to assist whichever way possible THANK YOU FNB
I'm glad to say as I explained to Standard bank it was a once off and I have resolved my situation!!! I have requested FNB start the process of moving my home loan which is not the average home loan to FNB as they really there to help unlike the at standard bank
What scares me is what help do they offer the average home buyer who has an issue if this is what that did to me!!!
NEVER TOUCH STANDARD BANK!!! TRUST ME
