Cancelling business banking profile without notice

My business banking internet profile had been removed by my bank without notifying me. As a result I could not access any money from that account electronically. I discovered that the internet profile was deleted when they put me through to business banking. I spoke to Malcolm initially who said I should hold on while he investigates then he transferred me back into the queue! I was furious as I told him not to take long as I was calling from my cell and already waited in a queue prior to getting through to him. I spoke to a very kind lady that went out of her way to find out why my profile was deleted. My husband is operating his small business on my name and his business has taken a dip so monies have been coming in very slowly. As a result services fees were not paid and hence they closed down the internet profile. Now I can understand the reason behind cancelling the profile but not that I was not warned that this would take place! This has now hugely inconvenienced us as I needed to make a payment urgently and could not get to a bank. I expect an answer as to why I was not informed and if this is normal business practice?
