The Amazing Rubber Account

I had a business account, which was opened and managed at the Menlyn Square Branch, Pretoria.
In August 2012 I closed this account. In October I saw that the account miraculously re-opened itself. I went to the branch and spoke to the person who closed it (Helgaart). He was as astonished as I was and said they will rectify it. In November I went again, and He said that he referred it to the (non-existent) branch manager. He said he would get back to me. Never did. In January and February I went to him again about the issue and he said he referred it to Ilse van der Merwe and that she would contact me. He discussed it with her telephonically in front of me. No calls. Now I am getting SMS's about the account being in arrears, with the typical bank threats.
I have lodged tickets on the FNB system, as physical meetings mean nothing.
Tickets 13207300 of March, 40702800 of April and 16315100 of July refers to this matter.
In April the Customer Services Manager of Menlyn phoned me (bless his soul), apologised for the entire matter and promised that the situation will be rectified within two days.
Sadly, this is the last I heard from them. Account still open, attracting cost. Pathetic.
