Debit Order Chaos & Confusion

I queried an unknown debit order (Telesure) against my account with FNB.
FNB duly traced the source of debit order to an insurance collection agency, I.S.Services with a non-working contact number.
Further investigation by FNB revealed it was a top-up charge on my DialDirect insurance policy for my motor vehicles.
I was never informed about this top-up cost nor did I authorise it so I requested FNB to reverse it after I cancelled the debit order via online banking.
FNB then proceeded to cancel my monthly premium debit order with DialDirect thereby rendering me uninsured.
I informed them of their error on Friday 28-06-2013 and didn't receive a reply or acknowledgement until Tuesday 02-07-2013.
Four days over a weekend period that my house and vehicles were effectively uninsured.
DialDirect eventually replied today 03-07-2013 stating that they had reinstated my policy with immediate effect and would run the debit order again on 08-07-2013 which includes a reinstatement fee (?) and that I would have to tae my vehicles to GlasFit AGAIN for inspection!!
I must now bear the cost of a reinstatement fee and waste my time at GlasFit for an error by FNB.
This simply defies logic!
