No Interest in going the EXTRA MILE for client!!!

I am absolutely shocked at Absa service!!!
No interest in helping their clients at all!!!

I called their loans division on 0860100372 spoke to Lesedi who was just not interested in helping me at all.
I asked him to call my mother or send her communication that they have received the amount to settle the account.

He told me that their an "inbound" call centre and that they don't make "outbound" calls. I asked him to send her an sms, he said he couldn't.
This is RIDICULOUS!!!
Are you really telling me in the whole of Absa there is no one who is interested in going the extra mile for their clients!!!

My mother has been your client for years and the one time she is not able to contact you or even go to the branch, this is the way you thank her??

And by the way, I also work for a Inbound call centre in one of the leading Financial Services Companies.
Our "Inbound" call centre does take customer service seriously and when clients are really unable to contact us or their calls get cut, WE CALL THEM because WE VALUE THEIR BUSINESS!!!

THANKS A LOT ABSA!!!
I will be advising my mother to close her account and go somewhere else.
