I don't care that ABSA has a dedicated complaints department, this just hides their thievery and devious behavior from the world. So I'm coming here to speak out.
I have been a loyal ABSA client since 8 years ago when I started working and opened a flexi-save account.

This year, Absa invited me to open a cheque account, and it was successful... however, I asked the consultant when my debit orders would move across, and she told me, that she would move them over on the 3rd of May 2013 and everything would debit from the new account come June. THIS WAS A LIE. My debit orders started bouncing off my old account, so in a panic I immediately went to Absa to try find out what was going on. When I asked for help THE ABSA EMPLOYEES, SMILED AND SAID THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO HELP ME. The branch MANAGER thought it was a big joke too and just stood there with a big smile on his face. THEY COULD DO NOTHING FOR ME AS A CUSTOMER, they couldn't even tell me what account the debit orders were assigned to. I feel so HORRIFICALLY OPPRESSED BY ABSA, that I have LOST ALL TRUST!!! Also, WHY IS THERE A SEPARATE CHARGE FOR INTERNET BANKING ON MY ACCOUNT WHEN ITS SUPPOSED TO BE FREE???!!!
