Bad customer service

When I confirmed submission of my Standard Bank Surplus apportionment claim, I was advised it would take 5 business days. Well that period is long past and when I follow up myself, I am told the processing time is now 2 to 3 weeks because they discovered they have more applications than anticipated. They could learn a thing or two about workforce management and customer service management.
Further, the level of information provided is also low because I can submit my claim, but I am not allowed to know what is the value of the claim. How credible and transparent is that process. I am glad they are not my service provider of any type.
