I tried to purchase at Clicks in Bellville and when the cashier swiped my Standard Bank debit card, he got an error message saying, "Withdrawal Limit Exceeded". I proceeded to contact your Call Centre where a cnsultant named Olivia told me that my purchase limit is zero. The next day I went to your Bellville branch where I was told by the nameless consultant at the front desk that there is a preset limit of R2000. Later that day, I tried to purchase with my card at Pick 'n Pay and the transaction was declined for the exact same reason - "Withdrawal Limit Exceeded". Now you need to tell me how on this earth can both purchases be declined when they were both under R100 and I have a purchase limit of R2000. Withdrawal Limit on a Purchase - REALLY??? What rubbish is that?!
I don't think any of you know how embarassing it is to stand at the tillpoint and the purchase declines.
I want this sorted out today! There is no excuse for this PATHETIC customer exxperience!
