I left my previous employer on 11 December 2012. I submitted my pension and provident transfer forms with the documentation as requested before I left.
On 8 January 2013 I receive feedback that I need to send ABSA a copy of my marriage certificate and a stamped bank statement, which they could have let me know much sooner. I submitted these on 10 January.
Since then I have requested feebdack regarding the status on 13 January 2013, and have not received a response from anyone at Absa.
On Friday 18 January I receive an email from Allan Gray (the bank to which my money is being transferred), stating that they still have not received the termination form from Absa bank.
I responded to this and asked for feedback from Absa regarding the delay and to date have not received any feedback whatsoever.
This service mirrors the poor service I have received when I went to transfer cash from my unit trust and 32 day call at Fourways Absa branch in December: I just get a sense that Absa doesnt care about client service at all.
