Still await Feedback regarding Premium Refund

I signed up for a funeral policy with Phakama Funeral Society with effect from 01/10/2011. The main reason why I took the policy was to obtain a funeral benefit for my Mother who was at the the time 72 years. Upon receiving their policy document. I picked up the age limit in terms of the policy is 65 years. I faxed a letter to Phakama's fax no:0865141115 on 07/12/2012 (I have proof of the fax) and forwarded an e mail as well to [Email Removed] (as per the e mail contact details on the policy document on 07/12/2012- i also have proof). I requested them to void the policy from inception and refund my premiums due to the fact that my mother is not covered and secondly I am covered as per my wife's membership no: BA0000005. Although my policy was cancelled effective from 01/12/2012. I did not get an official correspondence from Phakama with regards to whether they are refunding my premiums or not. Even if they are not refunding me, but a least let them advise me accordingly and give me reasons.
