Good day, my father passed away 18 September 2009 and we utilised the services of Cape funeral fund Cape town with whom both my parents had their funeral policy. Upon my father's death my mother took over the policy and had been paying it since end September 2009. Cape funeral fund buried my father on 26 September 2009 however on Monday11 March 2013 i got contacted by Cape funeral fund asking to speak to my father as according to them his funeral policy had lapsed and he is compelled to pay them.

This has seriously offended me as it has opened emotional wounds again and not only that it is a clear indication of total incompetence in the admin system of Cape funeral fund who is one of the Western Cape's most prominent funeral undertakers.

I would like to bring this matter under the attention of not only the management of Cape funeral fund but herewith also would like the matter resolved and a letter of apology addressed to my mother. Allow me to mention the policy is completely up to date.

I would appreciate a swift response in this matter as the lingering of this is draining.
