No response and now dealing with a third party

My installment on my vehicle was due on 10/6. I'm self employed and waiting for a payment from my client. I was optimistic and thought the payment would come by the 10th so did not make arrangements prior.

I received calls from Standard Bank to contact a Bob urgently. As a consultant on the road and in the training room, I was unable to call during office hours, so I sent an email to Standard Bank on 19/6/2013 to advise that I would be able to pay the instalment with my July instalment. I received a response that a consultant would get back to me in 24 hours. No one has.

However, a Sipho from Themba Mpungule (who appear to be debt collectors) has requested that I complete and submit forms. Is it normal to be handed over to debt collectors...
- Before the bank has made personal contact with me?
- Before a payment is 30 days without making arrangements?
- Why must I send very personal financial information to a 3rd party who has a yahoo account (in these days of )?
Why should I complete a respread application when I am deferring 1 month payment and have proved on previous occasions that I stick to my word? By the time these forms are processed I will have paid!
