BAD SERVICE TO A PRESTIGE BANKING CLIENT

I met with Xoli at Standard Bank Greenstone branch on Tuesday 8 May where she helped me to apply for a personal loan to do debt consolidation. From her phone she called this department and then handed the phone to me and I spoke to a consultant. The Personal Loans department was supposed to get back to me after 24 hours but failed to do so. I returned to the bank 48 hours later and Xoli was not in and another consultant managed to help me. Then the Personal Loans department turned down my application for debt consolidation as they claim "some of the debt was transacted with other financial institutions". Well gee that's a no-brainer in the first place and the Standard bank website does not specify any terms and conditions such as these on their web page or when a client applies. I tried to follow this up with Xoli at the branch when she was back in on Friday 10th May and she has chosen to ignore me. This is utterly bad service Standard bank!
