Withdraw ls amounting to R300 where made on my account from an atm in Fairlands at that time i was in Sandton with my card in my possession, I then called FNB cancelled the card and reported the transaction's as. I was then informed by the bright sparks at FNB that through they 'investigation' they found that the card was not cloned therefore I must have made the withdrawals and they will not be refunding me!
First of all no one can inform of what wonderful system they have to determine cloned cards, second of all basically what FNB is telling me is that i am a and im trying to get R300 for free? In all these investigations no-one thought to check the camera at the atm to see who was usuing the card? or the fact that i used a landline from Sandton to report withdrawls i was supposedly making on the other side of town. Like honestly?
My concern is no longer the money, my concern is the dodgy work FNB is doing to try and apprehend these criminals who are -our hard earned money, the reason they getting away with it is because of banks like FNB.
