On 12 June, 2013 we received written confirmation from Rodney Pillay, a Service Manager for Nedbank that a cheque of R154, 812had been cleared.Hours later after the stock was delivered, the funds were withdrawn and the client vanished! Followups were done with Rodney Pillay(Service Manager), Carl Vaax(Business Manager: Northern Gauteng), and Jolene Grobler(Business Manager).Its been a week since we sent Nedbank a letter stating that we hold them personally responsible for these funds and that they had until 20/06/13 to sort the query out and return the funds to us.After following up with them, leaving unreturned messages for Jolene Grobler-Carl Vaax replied saying that the 'relevant' people would sort it out.Obviously clientservice isn't one of their strong points.It doesn't bother them that we've lost those funds due to a mistake THEY made! We have suppliers to pay, those funds are by no means small change that we can afford to lose! Nedbank doesn't seem too worried though-maybe we should take a page out of their book.The only problem is that we actually care about clientservice! We thought the person who gave us a cheque was the artist-turns out Nedbank is the biggest one of all!
