POOR SERVICE FROM MANAGER

During December 2013, there were transactions on my bank account that were not processed when I swiped. According to the manager I spoke to at the call centre of Nedbank, advised that the reason for these transactions not being processed is because the merchants I made the purchases from did not send the transactions to them. The manager then advised me that it was Nedbank's process to honor payments made by myself. When I asked why do they allow the transaction to go through, even though there is not enough funds in that particular account, she said that is their process. When I asked why when there are funds available in my account, did my monthly debit order not go through, she couldnt answer me. She said that she will get back to approx 3 weeks ago, and I'm still awaiting for any feedback from Nedbank. I have had endless issues regarding Nedbanks service delivery and I am disgusted to say the least. If any of Nedbank's cheque account holders are not aware, your penalty for 'honored payment' is R90.00 per transaction. I was penalised a total of R360 honoring fee payment & R90 unpaid debit order (even though I had funds available in my account). Even have sms to prove it. *NO MORE*
