2 weeks to do what takes a day, and still waiting

I first went to african bank in fourway on the 01.06.2013 to submit a loan application. at the bank i was told there was some information that was missing which i gladly brought to the branch on the 08.06.2013. the consultant who helped me (Neo) told me he was going be on leave from the Monday so i would be assisted by Peter. Peter did not submit my application so i had to go back on Friday the 14.06.2013. he finally submitted it and he told me it would be finalized by Tuesday the latest. i gave the bank a call on Saturday and spoke to a manager named Shaun who assured me they had received my application and he would call me back with in the hour to give me feedback which he didn't . i called them again on Tuesday and i spoke to peter who told me they were still processing it. i still got no response on Wednesday so i called them again and peter told me that the turn around time had passed so i have to go back and resubmit it.my question is why should i have to go up and down because someone did not do their job, why is there a big sign at the branch that says " get a loan in seconds " when i have been waiting for 2 weeks, i wonder if anyone will even bother to respond to this?
