My wife had a car accident on the second of May 2013.We did the correct procedures and submitted the claimform the same day as the accident. I contacted the broker on the 13 May to enquire if something is still outstanding. He confirmed that everything is submitted and is only waiting for the loan documents from MFC.I mailed it the same day. He confirmed that the car is written off and is only waiting for the bank to notify him what is outstanding still.
On the 13 of June, I contacted MFC to enquire if the documents were sent to Zurich.the contact person at MFC confirmed via the system that the settlement amount was given through to a person named Adri in the Johannesburg branch of Zurich Insurance. Mfc contact person told me my claim number is 6123763 and I must call this Adri person. She will assist me further. On the same day I contacted her and she told me that She was waiting for MFC and I must phone my broker.in the meantime I have bought my wife another car and now I have to pay two installments.
Until today nobody can help me and nothing has been done.
