My daughter was mugged and her phone. My contract is with Bayport Financial Services. I tried phoning them, but got a message saying that they were not open and basically they are only open office hours. I phoned Cell C then to have the SIM blocked and the phone blacklisted. Cell C was unable to help me because they couldn't verify I am the holder of the contract because it is in Bayports Name. The lady at CellC kindly placed a stop for me so that no outgoing calls could be made. She was unable to blacklist the phone because the last sim that had been used in the phone was the one from Bayport. I phoned Bayport to cancel the SIM and blacklist the phone only to be told I have to fill in a form and it will take 24-48 hours for this to be done. If I had been able to contact Cell C directly, the SIM would be cancelled and the phone blacklisted immediately!!! Due to the fact that I am unable to get things done immediately or myself, I would like to cancel my contract with Bayport and have it transferred to Cell C direct. Where do I go for assistance?
