Why won't you unlock my Credit Card!?

I have been told that I went over my Credit Card limit of R1000 overdraft by R900, I went over the limit twice in one month.

Standard Bank locked my credit card and didn't call me.

- 1st visit to bank -
The teller told me I had exceeded the credit card limit and must transfer funds to unlock it. I transferred R10 000 into the account from my cheque account.

I waited the obligatory 2 days. Card is locked.

- 2nd visit to bank -
I eventually found time to visit the bank branch again. They told me that because I had somehow exceeded the limit twice in one month my credit card had been "hard-locked" and transferred to the legal department. Why on earth was I not told this the first time? $*%~ Ok fine, so I asked them to place an unlock order.

Wait 3 days. Fine. 4 days later, card still locked.

- 3rd visit to the bank -

Again, I eventually found time to visit the bank. They said they had the wrong number for me and couldn't contact me to confirm the unlock. WHAT..?! FACEPALM. Fine, whatever... "here's my new number...". "Thanks sir, please wait 2 days."

4 days later. Credit Card locked.

You have taken 3 days of my life, hours on the phone (airtime). new bank please, BAD JOB
