I am most disturbed about a query on my Cell C account, which goes back to December 2009. I purchased a cellphone on contract for 2 years and paid the account via debit order. The last payment i made to them was on 31-12-09, which would've settled my account. I put an end to my stop orders at the bank having concluded my dealings with Cell C.I believed all was in order, after not receiving bills from Cell C.Then i received a letter dated 17-02-10 from Cell C to tell me i would be handed over to Pholosa for collection, and that my bill was R1436.82!!! I have made numerous phone calls to Pholosa, speaking to various different people who say they will get back to me (guess what no one does) No one can give me a break down of the figure, which is now over R4500-00, due to legal fees. I have all the paperwork and documents to prove the unfairness of the bill. To make matters worse i have made a few payments (because this amount will keep growing), but i receive no correspondence whether they received this payment. I have even sent Pholosa a red receipt via e-mail which gets returned as message deleted and unread.
