So this week has been extremely cold and our Solar panel burst due to the frost. We log a claim with Standard bank on Wednesday evening. After mentioning that it is the solar panel/pipes they send out a plumber which only deals with geysers on Thursday. Which is a waste of precious time while we sit without water. Then they finally put us onto " Plumbers on call" who takes the whole of Thursday and only pitches at 15:00 the afternoon. Just to confirm it is the solar panel. Plumbers on call says they will submit qoute etc. to Standard bank Thursday afternoon, once approval received they can order the panel. Well Friday morning and we have had NO feedback from any one. When I follow up with Plumbers on call at 8, Zake says he sent the qoute but with the incorrect claim number. (Seriously- and this is the appointed Standard bank plumbers) So I spoke to Tebogo, Pieter, Velesha NO joy. Then I spoke to Yolandi (manager) at 10:30 who promises to phone there elected plumbers and let me know what is happening. At 13:00 I have still not heard from anyone, keeping in mind we still sitting without any hot water in the middle on winter.
When I finally phone at 13:00 Temba refuses to assist.
