Not enough characters to explain FULL story here, but in short, Standard Bank have had two open claims for the same burst water pipe at my home since 15 Dec 2013. I was eventually told by one of their consultants to get my own plumbers in and to submit the invoices. I have sent emails, letters, made endless phone calls but get empty promises and no results. I have lost tens of kilo liters of water, waited endlessly for the call center on my cell phone, and forked out over R8000 on repairs to a temporary solution carried out by SIL listed plumbers. I have been promised return calls and resolution more times than I care to recall, but still have not received a cent, not to mention an apology. I have struggled and struggled to get answers, but nobody seems to take responsibility. The lack of service and complete lack of caring or interest is appalling.
