Capitec wont take my money

I went into my local Capitec branch the other day to try and deposit a large amount of cash. When I tried to enter the branch I was told that I could not as there was currently a security company collecting cash and it was Capitec's policy to completely shut down all operations whilst this was happening. Being a little nervous as I had a lot of cash on me, I asked how long I would have to wait outside or wander the shopping centre, and the woman at the door said it could be 5 minutes and it could be half an hour. I was assured it was for my own safety.i cant see how safe it is for me to be wandering around with cash and not depositing it. I phoned the customer services hot line and all I was told was I must deal with it as its policy. No discussion or no attempt to rectify the situation. Two weeks later, and I still have not heard back from customer service. This is the second time I have made a complaint and then not heard back. I cannot understand how a company has a policy that a customer cannot deposit money while there are security guards on the premises. One would think it was more secure whilst they were there? Capitec have really cheap rates, and clearly really cheap service.
