Finrite Insurance Administrators
Cellphone claim

I submitted a claim form on the 29th of May 2013. Anthony said he would phone me back on the 30th of May 2013 and he didn't. I phoned on the 31st of May 2013 and spoke to Kagiso who was helpful and said he would look into my claim and get back to me. He phoned me back and said that my claim was approved and I would need to pay an excess of R750 as this was a second claim within 12 months. I told him that I never signed a policy that indicated that I would need to pay an excess amount of R750 and I asked him to please send me a copy of the policy that I signed. It has been 7 working days and I haven't heard anything from Kagiso. Today (11th of June 2013) I phoned and spoke to Bronwyn who I asked if she can please check how far is my claim and I had to hold for 6 minutes while she was checking, she then informed me that my claim was approved and I would need to pay the excess of R750, I asked her if there was a note on the system requesting for the original policy document that I signed and she said there was no note and she said that they do not have the policy documents on the system. I told her that I would not pay the excess, she told me that my claim has been declined.
