My maid had R3000.00 out of her account whislt having her bank card on her. She contacted Standard Bank numerous times to help her and their response was "Sorry mam we can not help you". I am sorry this is not good enough. She has in the interim opened a case with the police.
They are not willing to look into the problem and advise how this has happened, or not willing to give her, her money back.
This is not the first time i have heard of this happening, and again she was not assisted either.
This to me is a little unsettling as i have all my accounts with Standard Bank, and if this had to happen to me would i get the same attitude?
Please could someone contact me or Katy and advise what can be done about this.
