I wanted to get a lower premium on my car insurance so I called the call centre to find out if I can get a cheaper quote. The call centre agent was very good and professional and friendly, I have no issue with him- but when he couldn't offer me a cheaper premium than the one I currently pay I asked about the R400 as advertised, Suddenly I was no longer a welcome customer and he did all he could to avoid what is clearly advertised as "if we can't beat your premium, we"ll give you R400"
If I don't get this R400 then this is clearly false advertising and being advertised.
I would like to speak to someone who can give me a good reason why they advertise such a thing but don't follow up on their promise- it makes me feel like i can't trust outsurance to deliver on their promises so I find it very difficult to see myself ever being an outsurance customer.
If you can't deliver, don't advertise
