Our company vehicle was involved in an accident on 29 APRIL 2013. We lodged a claim on 30 APRIL 2013. It took outsurance a week to appoint an assessor. It took the assessor 2 weeks to finalize their report. The claim was approved and the car towed to their approved panel beater. I phoned a week and a half later to find out how far repairs on the car were as we were expecting the car back. Just to be informed by the panel beater that we should talk to our insurance as the car was written off and no repairs were started. Its the 7th of JUNE today - nearly a month and a half later and still the claim has not been finalized. I do not get feedback from our appointed agent (Thembi) - I have to contact her to find out whats going on. On 4 June she informed that the claim went through to her manager to finalize - 3 days and counting and I still have not heard from them. I completed their internet survey stating BAD service and got a phone call within an hour from "Ricsha". Yet, another day has passed. Tried to phone-no answer. Wonder if they just call to set your mind at ease or if they actually follow up on the bad service - 38 days and counting ..
