Terrible Service and attitude

I opened a share investment account online with FNB. Not too fussed about all the finer details (I mean --- I AM DEALING WITH A REPUTABLE BANK HERE) I initiate a R300.00 transaction as per their guidelines only to discover that they split the investment and that means that I pay R58.06 brokerage for a R22.00 transaction and R58.06 brokerage on a R220 transaction... i.e. R116.12 brokerage on a R300.00 transaction!!! what an awesome investment deal that is!!! NOT...

They are not willing to listen to me and simply say that they are not able to assist as that is the way things are setup. My next step is to go to the banking ombudsman.

Think about it logically - who in their right mind would initiate a transaction for R22 having to pay R58 for the "PRIVILEGE"
