I have vehicle finance with Absa. I have comprehensive car cover with another insurance company. Absa called me 2 months ago saying that I need to fax through confirmation that I still have comprehensive cover on my car else they will provide me with insurance. I faxed through the relevant docs and recieved confirmation that it was successfully sent. On the 26.05 my account was debited for an additional R822.00! I have been to the Absa branch were they did contact Absa insurance. The branch sent through all the docs again and I was told that i would be credited within 5-7 working days. It is now 10 days later and i have not received anything! I have contacted Absa Insurance myself and they keep telling me i will be credited on 5-7 working days but they unable to give me an exact date! I have asked to speak to the manager Mr Nathan Smith but was told he is unavailable and only comes to the office on certain days of the week! refernces and dates of contact: 30.05 8h13 ref is agents name, Meuraj. 31.05 8h29 ref 1-11327606. 06.06 9h30 Ref 1-1137346534.
