TRYING TO REDEEM AND CLOSE A POLICY

06May -called Sanlam to redeem an existing policy that had matured 06May -then emailed [Email Removed] to redeem this policy send all documents as requested same day -
Policy was expiring end of May -nobody bothered to email let alone call me to advise the bank details I had supplied to them they could not deposit the monies into as it was a moneymarket account-
27May i emailed again same email address to confirm if all was in order again no return email or call
03Jun I received a call ONLY on this day to advise they could not pay out into the account I gave
and needed me to give another account -emailed documents again with new account number BUT now that this account is a joint account ie my husband and myself I now had to get a letter from the bank to confirm it is joint account as well as needed a bank statement WHY was this not checked and advised within the 06May-03Jun whenever you try and call the call centre you can never speak to the same person
eventually my husband HAD to go into the Sanlam office in Durban -petrol parking expenses
to get this sorted out which was today 05Jun and has been advised that the policy will take at least 10days to
be paid out?
