In February /March this year I made a double premium deposit into Sanlam's bank account but unfortunately I did not supply the customer reference number. However I did supply my full name and surname upon making the deposit. As a result the double premium has been held by Sanlam's bank account. My financial institution here in Australia has undergone a full investigation and have confirmed this. My financial institution has also informed me that they have supplied Sanlam with a reference number regarding this investigation, however, Sanlam denies having received any information from Commonwealth Bank Australia.
I would appreciate some feedback as to what will become of the funds in Sanlam's bank account.
As a result, my policy has been made as paid-up and as a result I would now have to pay 7 months' total premiums to re-instate my policy.
