We started a policy with Sanlam 4 years ago with specific details on who has authorisation on this policy and the reason why. A couple of months ago we found out that the policy was not drawn up to our specification and when phoning the call centre they could not help us because we are not authorised to ask, edit or enquiry about the policy, we just the payer and nothing else. Went to see two Sanlam advisors or advised us to close the policy and start something new with the correct details. We all know full well that their will be a penalty cost involved, which we will be held responsible for. NOT RIGHT FOR US TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENTS / MISTAKES MADE BY SANLAM! We will not be cancelling or stopping the policy and if Sanlam does not want us as a client they can close and repay us in full, every cent that we spent on this policy and we will go somewhere else OR they can make right where they made wrong and change the details as it should of been from day one. We have documents in writing on black and white from when we enquired about the policy up until when everything was finalised which I emailed to Sanlam STILL WAITING ON REPLY... DISGUSTING
