I would like to know why if I transfer money from one of my own Standard bank accounts to another of my own Standard Bank accounts it must take 48 hours to clear? In a case where say R5, 000, 000-00 is transferred where does this interest go to for this 48 hours? This money is immediately not seen in your or the other account on the moment of transfer. The interest also disappear for this time period... If thousands of other suckers like me are having the same problem then someone is definitely making a lot of funny money... You have got no choice but to use the online banking facility due to the exorbitant overpricing when working with cash or any other type of transaction. I know there are a lot of corruption that takes place that might be held as a reason but what is the use for fica then? This is another type of corruption that is taking place in my opinion because if you ask the consultants they can not give you any reason for these rules and where the interest are going... Where does it go to then... At most other banks with these type of transactions you have this money the same day.
