I was recently in a motor vehicle accident and UNFORTUNATELY the vehicle is insured with outsurance.
They have declared the vehicle a write off when in actual fact it is repairable. No paper work was given to us for acknowledgement of loss or for us to accept their offer (this being R21 000.00 short of my sttlement).
I was told yesterday that it was paid to MFC but MFC has no records of our account due to a "system change over".
I want the vehicle back as is "DAMAGED GOODS" and I would like to know why they slack with their customer services and why all options are not discussed with the persons involved.
I still owe R21 000.00 on this vehicle but get told I must wait 3 months for SMD to put the car on auction so i must pay for something that someone else wil be driving due to it being bought at an auction.
What kind of insurance company doesnt even give you options???
I am extremely annoyed with this situation as I was paying for this vehicle on behalf of my fathers company as he wasnt doing so well.
Now you get companies like OUTsurance who cant even communicate with decent clients!
