Re Bond: PA Swanepoel 21452153.
I cancelled November 2012 life insurance on my bond because it just keep on increasing every year and I was paying now R 660.00 per month on outstanding bond of about R 42 000.00. For 2 or 3 months I had no problems with that then they start to debit me again with the amount I phoned life insurance department of Standard Bank home loans and they confirmed that there is no life insurance policy for me with Standard Bank covering my bond. Now they keep on phoning me several times each day and even on Sundays to inform me that they haven't received any payments on my home loan account I am paying each month R 1355.00 which cover my monthly installment as well as the insurance on the structure to my concern Standard Bank is trying to recover money from me for life insurance I don't have. I keep phoning, faxing and emailing without any feedback or response regarding this matter.
