I had an urgent request regarding my Discovery credit card. Because the emergency occurred late on a Friday afternoon, I called Discovery with dread as I anticipated the end-of-the-week complacency that one so often encounters at this time.
However, the call centre agent was sympathetic and helpful enough to refer my request to his manager, Tumi, who was polite, helpful and patient in the face of my urgent panic! Tumi undoubtedly went the extra mile for me, keeping me continuously informed of the progress and doing everything in his power to assist. Thank you Tumi for not being bound by the red tape, and for putting the customer first!
