Worst and most unhelpful service

I went to FNB in Pretoria North to get the bank stamp on my salary switching letter for my company to switch my salary to FNB account. i get to the branch they tell me that my account has been closed!! yes i hadnt used it for a couple of months, but no one called, smsed or emailed to tell me this was going to happen. They then tell me i need proof of residence to reactivate my account. I go all the way back to my office and print my medical aid tax certificate for the tax season that ended on 28 Feb 2013, my medical aid only sent this to me on 28 May 2013. This certificate has my address, ID number and all particulars. I go back to the bank and they then tell me that this is not acceptable, i explain to them that you only get these tax clearance certificates at the end of May even tho the tax season closed on 28 Feb 2013. They were extremely unhelpful and the teller was speaking to the manager behind the counter, they said nothing we can do.

I wasted time, petrol and effort doing this because FNB decided to close my account without informing me.
I will tell everyone i know about FNB and the appalling service i received.
FNB can keep their account, i will stick to Nedbank.
