ACCOUNT BLOCKED WITH NO WARNING FOR FICA

I CAN'T MAKE PAYMENTS ONLINE SUDDENLY-IT SAID 'NOT IDENTIFIED OR VERIFIED', AND AFTER GOOGLING I FOUND OUT IT UST BE BECAUSE THEY NEED PROOF OF ADDRESS. HOWEVER, NO SMS WAS SENT TO ADVISE ME BEFOREHAND AS IT USUALLY IS. I AM WORKING FROM EARLY TIL LATE EVERY DAY WITH NO TIME OFF ALLOWED, SO I CAN'T GET TO THE BANK TO SORT THIS OUT, AND MY DIRECT DEBITS COME OUT ON THE 1ST, SO I WILL FACE PENALTY CHARGES IF THE MONEY CAN'T COME OUT!! MY SISTER HAD THE SAME PROBLEM RECENTLY, AND WHEN STANDING IN THE BANK WITH HER PASSPORT (AND PROOF OF ADDRESS THAT IS APPARENTLY NOT APPROVED), WAS NOT ALLOWED TO EVEN WITHDRAW ANY CASH. THAT'S HER MONEY. WHETHER OR NOT HER ADDRESS HAS CHANGED, WHY IS SHE NOT ALLOWED TO ACCESS HER OWN MONEY, EVEN WHILST STANDING THERE WITH HER PASSPORT?

THIS IS RIDICULOUS-I'M NOW STUCK, AND GOING TO GET PENALTY CHARGES, WHICH I WILL HAVE TO PAY, NOT ABSA. I'VE BEEN UNHAPPY WITH ABSA BEFORE.. LAST TIME I PROVED MY ADDRESS I QUEUED FOR 40MINS, CASHIER SPENT 20 MINS 'TRYING TO PHOTOCOPY' MY DOCUMENT, THEN ANOTHER 15 COS THE COPIER WAS BROKEN, THEN COMPLAINED THAT SHE'D HAVE TO GO UPSTAIRS TO DO IT AND EVEN ASKED A COLLEAGUE 'WON'T YOU DO IT FOR ME? ' COS SHE WAS TOO LAZY!!
