Money taken out of my account from Standard

Upon viewing my statements via internet banking I notice that an amount of R9.00 was deducted from my account on the 23/05/2013 in respect of monthly statements being posted to my residential address. I queried this amount on 30/05/203 with reference no. 53443149 and 34362795 stating that I was not informed about the deduction and was told that a correspondence was sent out which I have no knowledge thereof. I was promised to be refunded in 3 working days.

With today's technology this correspondence could have being sent via e-mail, SMS, Telephonic etc. In my view this is. It is not the value but the principle behind this.

The main reason behind my complaint is that many Standard Bank account holders may not be aware of this and Standard Bank will benefit in this respect. South Africans are tired being bullied by the super powers the Banks hold. It time we take action against these unprofessional practices.
