I've opened a cheque account with Absa, in the process of moving everything over from Fnb, from when opening it until collecting my card, I have had no problems whatsoever, always friendly staff, consultants over the phone are pleasant and very helpful, however the lady that work in our branch are just very rude, personally for me it's very unpleasant going to the branch, if the teller speak to her, she doesn't even turn around to answer him, just carry on with her work and respond with her back turned to him. we only have 2 people employed in the branch and both work under Ladysmith branch.

Notify me is still not activated on my account, when I collected my card, I was told it was done, but I don't get an sms if I purchased something, the other day a consultant contacted me, she said she will do it, it's still not done, please advise how much longer it will take to get this activated?
