I am truly annoyed with the treatment that I received from AVAF as a Client. Late last year I left ABSA as an Employee to pursue my career elsewhere, I then contacted AVAF to change my debit dates and change my contact details.
To my surprise the following month my account was debited on the 20th still and when I called to follow up they just apologized and advised me that the Lady that was supposed to do it . just did not do it. I left it like that cause I understand that everyone makes mistakes.
On the 25th of MAY 2013, I got an SMS from my bank prompting me that AVAF Tried to deduct an installment of R5, 711.51 which is about R1000.00 more than my usual installment.
Fortunately/ Unfortunately I don't know what you want to call it there was not sufficient amount for the transaction to process as I make available sufficient funds only for my car installment.
When called on Monday to find out what the is going on, a Consultant told me that it's for my insurance. I WAS QUITE SURPRISED AS I don't have any insurance with AVAF . The Consultant then went on to say is actually not his department and that I should call a different number as he does not know anything
